Why play the DEI Game in your workplace?

Many companies are currently wondering how to attract and retain international talent. International talent is important to the work community in many ways. Of course, there will be more pairs of hands, but diversity in workplaces will also boost innovation, deliver better results and improve problem-solving.

Diversity alone is not enough; the workplace must also be inclusive. This means that every individual should have equal opportunities to participate, influence and, for example, advance in their career according to their skills, regardless of, for example, their cultural and linguistic background or gender.

What is Topaasia?

  • Topaasia is a dialogue game where players use cards to discuss the game’s theme and eventually come up with a plan of action to move things forward.

  • Suitable number of participants: 3-10 people

  • Duration: about 60 min

  • Topaasia works online. It does not require separate software installations.

  • There is one game leader in the session and the others participate as players

  • Topaasia includes +40 different game decks, one of which is DEI.

Experiences with DEI game sessions:

The dei game was easy to use and even though we played remotely, it was easy to guide people. The game was easy to concentrate on and as a tool it was so smooth that it sort of “disappeared” into the background of the work.

The game is not just a discussion, it is ultimately a steer towards the concrete, which is what we were trying to steer people towards. The result was a huge number of small actions, which we are now going through.
