Terms of Service - Topaasia®

Use of the Topaasia Oy web service (hereinafter "Topaasia") requires that the user of the Site agrees to comply with these terms of service. These terms apply to all written content and material on the Site, regardless of the format it is in (hereinafter "material").

Changes to the site and material

Topaasia has the right, at any time and for any reason, without prior notice, to change the content, appearance and level of availability of the Site and the Material, other matters related to the features of the pages, and these terms of service, or to discontinue the Site in part or in full. Topaasia also has the right to suspend the operation of the Site for maintenance and update work without prior notice.

Cookies

The Site may use cookies to provide technical functions such as payments and appointment booking. Third-party services (such as Stripe and Calendly) may set their own cookies in connection with their operation. The Site does not use tracking or analytics cookies.

Topaasia's liability

Topaasia is not liable for damages caused to the user by the use of the Site or by the Site being unavailable, or for damage related to these. Topaasia aims to keep the Site up to date and free of errors. Topaasia strives to correct errors and malfunctions on the Site as promptly as possible. However, Topaasia does not guarantee that the Site will operate without interruptions or errors.

Third-party material

Topaasia is not responsible in any way for the content or operation of other online services accessible through its web service. By moving to linked pages, the user accepts that those pages may no longer be under Topaasia's control and that Topaasia has no means of influencing their content.

Applicable law

The use of the service and the interpretation of these terms of service are governed by Finnish law. Disputes concerning the agreement will be settled in the District Court of Kajaani in accordance with Finnish legislation.

Entry into force and amendment of the terms

These terms of service enter into force at the time of their update and remain in force until further notice. Topaasia has the right to amend the terms of service, and the new terms enter into force at the time of their publication in the web service.

Intellectual property rights

The ownership rights, copyrights and other intellectual property rights to the Site, the Material on it and other content belong to Topaasia or its partners. All rights to the Site, the Material and other content on the Site are reserved.

The user has the right to store a temporary technical copy of the Site on their computer or other device, and the right to print parts of the Site for personal use. Trademarks and business marks on the Site may not be published, copied or distributed without written permission from Topaasia.

Personal data

Topaasia complies with the provisions of the Finnish Personal Data Act when processing personal data. User identification data is stored only to ensure the technical implementation and use of the web service and to safeguard its security. Identification data concerning the user arising from the use of the Site will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by a court judgment or an official decision.
