Alone with your thoughts? How to use Topaasia games solo for sparring your thinking, ideation and prioritisation.

4 years 3 This article explains how you can use Topaasia decks on your own to speed up your thinking and solve problems. Played solo, the game takes about 10-20 minutes. Here is how to play alone:
  1. Choose a burning challenge or theme to work on. For example "me as a leader" or "sales meetings", "building trust" or "rewarding".

Each hand has five cards. 4) Start the game by turning over the first perspective card. IMG 20181204 161105 5) Go through the first hand. Consider which of the cards fit your situation and the perspective card, and choose a card from this hand. Place the card on the table. Discard the rest of the cards. Repeat the same for the other hands. Once all the hands have been looked through, there are several cards on the table. The other cards go back into the deck. IMG 20181204 161353 7) Shuffle the discarded cards into the deck. Deal new hands onto the table. Go through the next perspective in the same way. Repeat this until all the perspectives have been covered. As a result, you have choices for three perspectives. You can use the Topaasia canvas to help, recording the factors that advance your theme or challenge, the factors that hinder it, and the actions to take. If you want to end up with a single action, choose one Topaasia from the cards, that is, the most useful topic to advance and the one with the most significant impact. Go through the canvas questions for the Topaasia® topic. Download the Topaasia canvas here. For solo play we recommend the Topaasia General Deck or the Systems Intelligence deck. If you work in software development projects or in a team, the Successful Project deck is also a great choice. You can order Topaasia games from our online store.
