At its simplest, sustainable development means meeting the current needs of society without depriving future generations of the opportunity to meet their own needs. The Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) point the way to a space where the environment, people and the economy are taken into account on an equal footing.
We wanted to help as many people as possible to discuss this important – and sometimes difficult – topic with Finland’s UN youth, the Youth Agenda 2030 group and Topaasia. So, together with Topaasia, we set out to create a deck of cards around the themes of sustainable development.
